I wanted to try my hand at some beginner kydex work. This is what i came up with on my 9'er.

That looks pretty good. Great first attempt I'd say. Welcome...

Nice work man !
I'd hate to see my first attempt. Lol
Welcome.

Nice!!! Wow if I tried that it would look like someone used a dodgy Star Trek transporter!

looks a lot better than my first sheath.

If you want straighter lines, you could consider getting a cheap belt grinder and then it is real easy, just cut slightly larger that you need and lay the kydex flat and viola!

Question though...what is the little indentation on the top side for?

I am a machinist by trade, so i have access to all the tools for refining some other sheaths and holsters in the future. This one was just made for function over form so I am not too concerned about a few splits on the edges. The recess in the side is to avoid the latch on my camp stove cover while on my pack. Guess i could have mentioned this is being carried on a pack and not on a belt. (tec lok clips on nylon strap on side of pack). Thanks everyone for the vote of confidence. Small kydex will be piggybacked to the front for bk11 soon.
