I am eagerly awaiting arrival of my first custom folder, a Tom Mayo TNT!:D Tom just emailed me, and looks like I should have it in my hands either the end of this week, or begining of next. I can't wait to fondle my new TNT, and I plan on carrying and using it often. I got a large recurve, and ordered it in Janruary 2002. This is probably the longest I have waited for anything, and I HATE waiting.;)

Will post more details when I get to play with my new baby.

Congrats on the knife and surviving waiting. Those TNTs sure are sweet looking. Please let me know how they function.

Wow, youre getting close! If Tom says end of next week, you're only, maybe 3 or 4 years away, that's awesome. :)

Just kidding, sort of. :) Tom is the best, and so are his knives, but Phillip is talking about a guy who is better than Tom, so, who is this "none" guy that Tom is second to? Prices? :)

Seriously though, you asked about how they function, they are the smoothest, most precise folders money can buy, i have 3 of them and am always looking for more.

This morning the mailman brought me my long awaited TNT!:D I couldn't be more pleased about how it turned out. This is the smoothest opening folder I own, and lockup is perfect. I am in love!

I am especially pleased with the recurve blade, I think it turned out great. The recurve is fairly slight, but enough to be noticed easily. I have found that this type of recurve works well for general utility, and I do plan on using this knife. It will probably be my new EDC. Can't wait to use this knife and see how the talonite perfroms against steel.

Sorry, but I don't have any way to post a picture. If anyone wants to have a look, just shoot me an email, and I can send a pic.

:D  :D

Congratulations, they are as good as it gets, smooth as anything out there, with perfect locks and remarkable precision.

Email me your picture and ill post it here for you.

As promised, here is Erik's first and brand new TnT. I actually have almost the same knife, different holes. They are awesome!

Hey! I just realized, this was my thousandth post!!! Yipee. :)

Congratulations dude. In May of last year I got my first TNT. A few weeks ago i added number 14 to the collection. (others have come and gone but I keep the really big ones) They are, quite simply, the very best.

Did you say 14 TnT's?

Its enough to make a grown man cry...:(

I was pretty pleased with my 2...

Awesome knife, congrats!

Tom said maybe by this summer. You guys don't make the wait any easier!!! :D

Wonderful piece. You are a lucky man, Erik! :D Congrats!

(Nice one, Tom!! ;))

The real kick is - how do you amass 14 in less than a year? Is there a FAQ somewhere that delves into the details? Is there a video out on how to do it?

:)

Getting 14 in a year isnt the hard part, it's convincing your wife to sell all of her jewelery and hook part time that's tough. :)

But really, hmmm, 14 TnT's...how many HOLES is that?

I guess now that i think about it, it makes me feel a little better that you have WAY more empty holes than actual knives... And with my 2 TnT's, i have a higher knife to hole ratio... :p
