First toe in the water

It's been one week since I stumbled into this forum and became infatuated with slipjoints. After spending a pleasant week reading and learning about the different brands and patterns I was able to put my new-found knowledge to use today at the local gun show. All those bone and stag knives that I used to pass right by were suddenly intensely interesting.

And look what followed me home!

The Wrangler was on my freshly minted "Wish List" and I was pleased to find it in stag for a great price.

Nice snag,I've been wanting a Wrangler for a while now,especially in stag.
I love a Clip,Spey & Punch blade combo.
 
Hmmmmm, "dipping a toe" must be some sort of surfer lingo; it looks to me like you just shot a curl through a 100 foot tall wave. Excellent find OP, enjoy!:thumbup:

Welcome to the addiction - ehm... traditional forum. The very best crowd of gentlemen that can be found. And a great start in the traditional world. That stag is just looking great :) Congratz on that nice find.
