First tomahawk,,, ideas for design???

Hey yall,,,, need some advice on a first tomahawk design,,, iv'e made several knives,,, but never a forge weld,,, I got some old leaf springs I can maybe forge weld to a more mild steel.. Spring steel will be for the blade part,,, yall got any designs or something?
Do I want a possible spike or hammer head on the back or just plain wrap around the handle.... Any advice is appreciated

I like a hammer poll of some sort, even if it is just a flattened section.

Ide say make your first just a standard wrap, so you can get the hang of it.

Then number two should have a small hammer poll
