I've made a few false starts before and several years ago I even made a hawk like object, but being at Bowies Hammer-in recently, and seeing Alan Longmire's hawk demo got me fired up again, so a few days ago I started pounding on some steel.

15" curly maple handle.
cold blued mild steel head w/ 1084 bit.

Now I just gotta make a short sword with a blued blade and a cm handle, and my war set will be complete.

Nice work.
Like the size, love the curly maple for hawk handles.

Looks light and quick. Should be handy in a scrap.

I like your style.
