Thanks to a thoughtful member I just purchased my first traditional folder since the barlows I had in the 60's and 70's.
I needed something pinchable because I have the bad habit of fingernail chewing. I ended up with an esky zulu with nice Mammoth scales. Still debating on whether to let it patina or to keep in shiny through the use of modern treatments.
The question I have is, it is #69, is that number engraved in the knife somewhere? I have always seen all these slip joints serialized, and I was wondering where the number is?
Anyway, it is a pretty cool knife, looking forward to giving it some pocket time.
