I had tried stamping leather sheaths befoer but looking at all the carving done on sheaths around here I got the itch to try it so fo my 11th sheath i gave it a wirl.

I made the sheath for another makers knife and friend of mine Jeff Diotte from La Salle Ontario he also runs Downie knife supplies.

not bad. What are the black holes in the knife handle? Looks like ghost eyes from here? :)

Nice work Abe. I'll have to check that out. Might have a couple for you to d
do for my as well. I really liked the front break sheath you did for your big chopper.

Keep up the good work.

Sweany the "holes" are black micarta pins. The large hole at the butt is a thong hole with a carbonfiber sleeve.

Looks good! Is that a CF arrow you used for the thong hole tube liner? I love the Micarta pins, especially with woods. I had trouble finding it last time I needed it, so I bought enough to last me a lifetime, then found it for 1/3 of the price. Isn't that how it always goes?!

Thanks guys that is like I sadi my eleventh sheath so I amhoping to pick up more an more every sheath I do. If you need a few done Jim just let me know. I have to take these by Jeff's tomorrow or almost today.
