The first one i based of the knife in jurrasic world because i liked it so much i wanted to make one of my own the blade is 5.5 inches of 1084 heat treated by me and the handle is curly maple.

The second one is a little knife i made for my uncle to put in his tackle box. Its s35vn sent away for heat treat and the handle is rosewood. Its only about 7.5 inches overall but is very comfortable. Any tips on how to improve my work. I got a decent coal forge built now so im hoping to be able to do some more elaborate design's and am working om building a belt grinder to speed the process up.

I have in my mind to make a bowie sometime in the future and would like the handle construction to be kinda like this

To me it looks full tang but if it is i have no idea how the gaurd fit on. Would it be a hidden tang with another piece of steel fitted around it with the scales sandwitching it all together or is there another way to do this im not aware of?

For the bowie handle take a look at this thread. The pictures may give you a clue. It's called a frame handle. The narrow tang is surrounded or "framed" by a spacer that matches the profile of the finished handle. This spacer is the same thickness as the tang. The slab scales are attached to this assembly. It can be constructed with or without a finial nut at the butt end to hold everything together.
