First US switchblade patent?

So, reading through numerous sources that consistently mention the first Korn patent (273,858), as the "second US patent awarded for a switchblade", I can not however, figure out which was the actual first patent, that pre-dates that.

I'm trying here instead of the auto sub-forum, since I haven't gotten much traction there with my questions.

If anybody can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

NM, think I found it, 199,766 W.T. Whitehouse patent for a Leverlock style knife, from 1878
 
Also, in case anybody else has any interest, there's a patent that pre-dates all these for an OTF auto dirk: US57902A pretty interesting.
