I just wanted to say yesterday was a very happy day for me.
I purchased a first version (stamped) 110!!

:o

The only one I have heard about that was NIB with all papers ect. sold for $1,400.00 3 or 4 years ago.. After almost 50 years go by few are left..

I know where one is that could be had for a couple of "C" notes. The blade is worn though, he's also has a 500 in fairly good shape also.

Yes I saw the one that sold for 1500 a few years ago, it was up for auction a few months ago for 1000 no bids, but mint mint. Mine does have the original sheath but does not have a box. Does anyone know how many first versions have been accounted for?

How many right stamped and how many etch were made of the first version? I've only heard numbers like 297 and 700. Whats this about doe skin sheaths? were they natural coloured?
My frist version sheath is black with white stitching (very soft leather) and second version sheath is the smae but with black stitching and a little wider belt loop

Hopefully these aren't too small.
Anyone know how to get bigger pics?
I seem to have used to be able to direct link to photobuckect, but it wont let me use 600x800 or even the next size down, it says the remote file is too large....
