man, i need to get one of those. i started to this past spring. maybe next spring i'll pick one up...

Bruce what brand and aprox cost? Don't know much about them

There is a punk around my property at Bridge lake that has tagged my shed and having fires when I am not there

Plus last year a neighbour said there was a big male cougar on my land last winter, he saw it once and lots of tracks

Looks like hes pooping.

Do they do that in the woods?

Cool pic. One of the guys I hang out with is a big fan of trail cams, and has some pretty cool pictures he's collected off of them. There is a section in one of the local outdoor mags has a section in it for trail cam pics. Last issue had a picture of a panther chasing a hog.

Brad - I have the Primos Truth Cam 35. It is bigger/heavier than some of the newer models out there. I bought this one though because it was less money, got good reviews, and I don't wan't to worry too much about it getting stolen. They are $99 from Cabelas.com.

Great picture I've got to get one of these soon. So did you just randomly place it or did you find a spot with some tracks and animal signs and put it up?

I found a deer trail and put out some salt & grain. A few days later I checked it and the deer had been on it nibbling the salt and grain (evidenced by deer tracks). I was curious wether it was whitetails or mulies so I bought a trail camera. After the camera had been out two days I went to check it. Wlaking up to the site I knew I had problems.....all the grain was cleaned up, every last piece. Also the trail camera was at the bottom of the tree I mounted it on. I knew before I looked at the pics that bears had found the site (& my camera which they left a few marks on). There was a sow with 2 cub as well as a lone brown bear. For some reason i only download the one pic. Anyway I haven't put out more grain, I'm waiting for the bears to go to bed!

Note: baiting for ungulates is legal in BC. I also bought a ground blind which I was hoping my daughter could hunt deer.

My brother had his CuddeBack IR in front of his whitetail foodplot to see what kinda bucks he has this year....He got a nice pic similar to yours with a big 'Ol Blackbear ! He went back about a week later to check it & it was gone ! He looked around & found it 10~15yds away in the underbrush...broken & chewed on ! He took it home to try to fix it & to check his SD card to see what happened & there it was ....Black Fur, an ar & then a mouth opened wide & teeth ! I guess the Bear didn't like his Picture taken
