Hi folks, i want to show you my first work as a silversmith i concluded in december 24.
Its a 9" gaucho knife forged in 52100 steel with a tradicional nickel silver handle, all made by my self.
This is the tradicional knife of my state, Rio Grande do Sul, the equivalent for the bowie knife for the north americans.
I'm very proud of this work and for master this both crafts, bladesmithing and silversmithing (plateria criolla or prataria crioula).
i'll keep studying and making improvements and more complex works!
Hope you like!
