First work done with BK2

Just thought I'd post about the first real bit of work I've thrown my BK2 at. Lately the Santa Ana winds have picked up in Southern California, which always rains down tree branches and palm fronds everywhere. Today I noticed that there were a few large palm fronds littering the intersection near my house so I strapped on the BK2, gathered up all the offending branches and dragged the lot back to my yard. The BK2 made short work of the processing, able to chop the thick woody branches into sections that would fit in my "greens" trash bin with only a few fell swoops of the blade. Having once processed a large number of the palm branches by only stomping on them, the Becker experience was a metric buttload safer, easier and more efficient.
A special bonus is that I don't feel like a ninny with a cherry paint job on my Campanion :D

Nice! and helpful....the only problem I have with my BK2 is that batons break frequently over the spine.:D

and here's a bonus palm photo from my front yard. Those frond stalks can be nasty.

As a off turn of events today, I found out I will be staying in SoCal for about 3 weeks here pretty soon. I may have to pay some Beckerheads some spot visits to check to make sure those blades are being used.:D
