First XM-18 flipper showed up at my door today

New to the Hinderer family having only previously owned a non flipper for about a week. But really had my heart set on a flipper so made the switch. Really liking this knife! A little getting used to flipping a 3"er especially since my only other current flipper is the much longer Southard. But I like having options. Looking forward to being able to switch out the scales so easily and have a deal working for an orange scale.

Welcome to the family bud.
It takes some getting used to the 3" flipper but after it breaks in it should be second nature.
 
My one 3" (that I have carried a bit) opens nicely with stud OR flipper. Enjoy:) Nice piece:thumbup:
 
Congrats man. I've never held a 3", but it looks like a great little EDC!!
 
Thanks everyone. The 3" is my perfect size edc. Haven't had this for too many days yet can hardly put it down. Most knives that I might invest this much in would sit in the safe but this knife really seems to be made to use!

Trust me, that one don't need much breaking in!
 
LW.....Loving the knife. Scale seems more black than anything with a hint of green. Looking forward to switching out to an orange one soon. A certain forum member said they might have one available soon. :-)

Yep, it should be here tomorrow. The nice thing about the green/black is that even the dark ones seem quick to resell around here. I'm glad you're so happy with it! :thumbup:
