Hey guys, I received my ZT0550 last week and was blown away. The quality was impeccable and it had the best factory edge out of all of my knives. It fit my hand like a glove, as if the knife was designed for my hand. :D I will be purchasing more ZT and Kershaw knives in the future.

That knife looks amazing. I can't wait for mine to arrive. I love the grey background you use for your pictures. It makes your knives really pop. :)

Man...I'm getting the itch for one bad!!!
Rick, how is it going? I bought a belt from you awhile ago for my IWB holster. I don't remember if I ever thanked you for the excellent craftsmanship and quick turn-around time, so thank so much. If you are considering a ZT knife just do it. They are awesome knives and well put together with great materials. I'm sure that you would be impressed with any of the ZT line.

You picked the right one!
I currently have 3, and like them all fairly equally.
I have the 551, 302, and a 350cb.
.....but my Gen 1 xm18 gets the pocket time :)

Awesome choice. It's the ONLY folder that I kept. I never found the "one" and got rid of em all. Only shame is that its a $200 knife that I beat the crap out of :D can't wait for a 0561 to beat the crap put off.

Heres a pic of my workhorse 0550

Hope the belt is serving you well.....just as soon as I regroup from the Christmas expenses, I'll be getting myself a belated present in the form of the 0550. All these fine pictures you all keep posting isn't soothing the itch any......keep it up!!

I've been thinking harder and harder about this knife. My first ZTs were big knives (0301, 0200) and they just weren't for me - love both knives, but never carried them and I generally go to my fixed-blades for camping/backpacking/hunting. I've got a 0561 on order and a 0350 composite (ZDP) on its way to my house, but I keep looking at this 0550 like I couldn't do without it.

I typically like a 3.5" or less blade, and I love choils, but I don't usually care for thumbstud-only openers (love the flippers, love opener-holes), but this one just doesn't seem to fall off my radar. The fact that Rick makes custom scales for it doesn't hurt either.
