In case anyone is lookin for me, I'm leaving in the morning for the eastern part of the state for my annual fish reduction, beach hang out, eat drink and do nothing project.
The internet sometimes works, sometimes don't, so I might be able to check in, and might not.

This place is my little oasis so I miss it pretty bad if I'm off the grid.

Be kind to one another as usual and I'll catch you upon my return if I'm out of the loop.

Peace/out

I want to hear some “real” fish stories when you get back...you know, the one that got away?!?

You know what they say, "The difference between a good fisherman and a great fisherman is a witness";)

Enjoy! I was off grid at the end on June and it was heavenly.

My Grandaughter caught the biggest Bass I've ever seen come out of the lake. Her very first fish, caught herself. Thought she was pulling in a weed, lots of weeds this year.
Her dad looked over and saw it and grabbed the line when it was at the boat and pulled it in.
She had no idea she'd just caught the fish we all spend our whole life looking for.
My daughter got a big one 2 years ago, I got a big one last year but I believe she has the biggest one yet. It was a slow year, mostly very little and had to work for them. Water was still too cold and weeds everywhere.
I'll post some pictures later, got lots of stuff to do and catch up.
Vans lift blew up on the way over, so working on getting that completely replaced.
If it was easy everyone would want to be a derelict.

Hey! Pics pops! I love pics of kids and big fish! Especially Bass.

Yea, the Bass bite has been slow down here as well...not quite warm enough yet, even though I'm sure the lakes in the central part of the state are producing, as it's toasty in the central valley.

Glad ya'll had a grand time, too bad about the blown lift though, hope you get to it soon, and that it's not too inconvenient for you.

That Banchero is a steal, auntie has another, but bigger, I'm waiting for the specs, before I pull the trigger, you never know, "bigger" may mean something else in "HI" terms, as in "huge"...lol.

Might be cool. If your in love with this one, say the word and I'll give up and wait for the next one.
Just kind of struck my fancy since I don't have one, never heard of one before.

You deserve it! I'll wait for the next one.

Auntie said the other one is much larger, and unless I'm using it to do some heavy duty chopping, she doesn't think I'll like it. She's probably right, she knows what hits my sweet spot...:) She has me down for the next one when it shows up.

Wonder how big it really is, maul size? Be nice to see a picture of it.

I'm kind of anxious to hold this one, full report when it arrives.

Great catch! Is that a Zebco 101? I thought the 202 was the smallest? She did great getting that in on that rod! Grats!

Did ya hear back on that one cul? If your not going for it id like to put my bid in.
