Hahaha, ok, the title is total clickbait so if you are expecting to see me Tarzan wrestling a shark with a fish hunter between my teeth then you need to temper your expectations. :p I did, however, take my Fish Hunter out for its maiden voyage today and got to use it extensively cutting up bait and I DID actually use it to release a bait stealing 5 foot white tip shark.

I was very happy with the overall performance of the knife. Even though it is a very specialized design it still performed quite well at all my normal cutting chores on the kayak. I think cutting performance is not really any different from the Aqua Salt, you just don't have a robust tip so you have to be a bit more cautious with "hard use". I am going to rig the sheath to leave it permanently mounted on the kayak because it's only a matter of time before it will be used for its primary purpose. Very happy with the knife!

you were fighting that shark for a bit there. hoping it would bite through the line on its own i guess.:) good videos. enjoyed them. fish hunter looks like a winner for the right tasks.

Is looks so stabby. I'm glad they went with the yellow FRN, otherwise it may have been perceived as tactical rather than a fishing knife.

interesting thought. never considered a color to imply weapon or tool. good thing they didnt make it blood red....down here the fwc might think it was used in neffarious ways.:)

:)I gathered that. Apparently Emojis from my phone don't always post . In fact I had to edit this one because smiles weren't posting.

HaHa! I had visions of you wrestling a Great White like Cpt. Ahab, stabbing it while going down with it into the deep.
