Hahaha, ok, the title is total clickbait so if you are expecting to see me Tarzan wrestling a shark with a fish hunter between my teeth then you need to temper your expectations.
I did, however, take my Fish Hunter out for its maiden voyage today and got to use it extensively cutting up bait and I DID actually use it to release a bait stealing 5 foot white tip shark.
I was very happy with the overall performance of the knife. Even though it is a very specialized design it still performed quite well at all my normal cutting chores on the kayak. I think cutting performance is not really any different from the Aqua Salt, you just don't have a robust tip so you have to be a bit more cautious with "hard use". I am going to rig the sheath to leave it permanently mounted on the kayak because it's only a matter of time before it will be used for its primary purpose. Very happy with the knife!
