Fish knife with gaff hook?!!?

I was thumbing through a guys feedback items (he worked at Schrade) to see what kind of knives he had sold when I came across this number>>

:confused: He said it may have been a proto, but wasn't sure, anyone see anything like it before?

Well in that case I'll throw up a few more photos. These are all he had up. He mentioned that the tang was only stamped stainless, USA, and put it side by side with an old and slightly used Schrade Walden fish knife, with Uncle Henry scales, but minus the gaff for comparison. The knife sold for $180.

WOW thanks for posting , thats a great looking knife . I have to find one of those. I do a lot of fishing and that would be coolest thing on my vest!

A gaff is used to drag heavy &/or toothy fish into the boat or onto shore.

Yeah...Just like one armed sailors have on their other arm...but I thought it was for wiping their butts with? Hoo Roo
