A Schrade Walden Stainless fish knife. Delrin, no bolsters, with a brass shackle. I've seen a few of these. A long knife, 5" closed with a 4 1/8" clip, and a scaler/degourging tool that has a cap lifter. I guess it is a variation of the 208 pattern, but I can't seem to find this one in a catalog. As you can see, there are two oval stamps, under the tang stamp. No pattern stamp on the back side. It is stamped SCHRADE / WALDEN / N.Y. U.S.A / STAINLESS

Anyone know the pattern number on these? Or the manugacture dates?

Here it up against a Jackmaster for comparison. I've seen these a few times with a tipped blade, or one that has been tipped and reprofiled. The shield is a nice touch.

Looking through the archives here it seems that the pattern is an 850 and had a name also "Old Lunker" knife looks nicer than the name, still love that swedge!

Thawk,

That is a neat knife and in excellent condition. Isn't it a neat shield.
