Fisher Bullet Pen Question

Has anybody notice if the coating wears off on the part that the cap fits over when the pen is open? I noticed they have one with the Rainbow Ti coating now, but of course I don't want one if the coating will be wearing off.

I don't know about the Rainbow Ti but I have had problems with the basic lacquered finishes (blue, red, green) and the black finish. With my pocket carry, the coatings eventually wear and chip off. I really like some of the other finishes but always end up buying basic silver because that looks better than a beautiful blue (or red, etc.) that is chipped.
