Fisher Ink Cartridge in S&W Tac Pen?

Just got my S&W Tactical Pen in today’s mail and of course had to unscrew it and see what’s inside. The ink cartridge looks to be about the same size as the Fisher I have in another pen, except for that bit of plastic at the end. Seams like I could trim it down and use a Fisher refill when the current one runs out.

Is this practical or am I missing something here?

If it fits, or you can make it fit, get after it. I won't carry a pen unless it will take the Fisher refills. The little plastic filler that comes with the refill is for the Parker pen and I really like Parkers.

I buy the SS parker pen, put in a Fisher ink cartridge and I'm good to go. I love the all ss parker pens but their ink is not up to snuff when it comes to Fisher's space cartridges. Yep if you can make it work:cool:.

I have a SS Parker as a back up in case I lose my Fisher military that I bought in the BX.

Back in the 60's, just before I shipped out to Vietnam, the church gave me a Parker pen and pencil set. I still have it and a Parker fountain pen that I bought to match the set.
