Fisher Space Pen Question

So i picked up a Fisher Bullet Space Pen in matte black and after about a week of use I noticed the pen has developed a bit of a rattle inside the tube. I think its a combination of the spring in the front portion of the pen and the metal ink chamber.

Anyone else with a bullet space pen notice a rattle when you shake it? I'm thinking this may be normal but just looking for someone else's opinion.

Just checked mine. No rattle to speak of. I’m no space pen expert but I can’t remember anyone complaining about a rattling noise. If I hit it hard enough against my hand, the pocket clip will vibrate a little but that’s about it.

Yea I have a feeling its not supposed to be doing this.

Fully closed, the pen rattles when I shake it and when I write it makes a metal ticking noise each time the pen tip writes on the paper.

I got it off amazon so I'll probably do an exchange for a new one.

Mine does it with the fine refills.
