Fisher Space Pen Question.

Hey I traded some stuff to my friend and he gave me his Fisher Space Pen I really really like its the bullet one. But when I was fiddeling with it the O ring on it broke off and I tryed to replace it with one of mine but it wasn't big enough. I emailed Fisher asking for a new one do you think they will send me one? Or where I could get thick O rings?
 
All my dealings with Fisher, they have been very helpful. They may ask you to send it in, although I can't see why if it's just the o-ring . . . .

Mcmaster.com has every o-ring size known to man. You have to order quite a few (usually 100) but the price ends up being about what you would pay for 5-10 at Home Depot.

Keep in mind that the Space Pen stock o-ring has a small chuck cut out so it can release the pressure when you put the cap on. You'll need to cut a small chunk out of the replacement o-ring so the cap doesn't pop back off.

That where my O ring broke... I was looking at it and thought it was weird then I dropped the pen when my phone rang and the ring snapped off. I hope they can send me a new one.
 
You can get glow in the dark o-rings from lighthound.com,now that would be cool.
 
I tryed regular O rings the problem is they arnt thick enough to cause drag when you push it in. So it just goes back and fowarth.
