Fisher Space Pen...

I now have 4 of these pens now, all different models (Blue & Black ink)...And while the ad's tell all about how they can write over fingerprints, oil etc, etc.

Well, I found out today what they WON'T write on.... Plain old scotch tape! I had a piece on a paper I was writing on and when I got to the tape.... I might as well have used a nail and scratched it on.

Still think these things are great...Just surprised me that it couldn’t do it, Maybe if I try it upside down?
 
That's weird ... hey ... think we can get Cliff Stamp to test a Fisher Space pen? :)

I know I have some scotch tape around here somewhere ... I just have to see this for myself....
 
I just tried it. It worked fine for me. BTW, I am using real 3M Scotch brand tape. What kind are you using.
 
I'll check the brand name of the tape when I go back to work on Monday and let you all know.
 
Interesting...I didn’t even think until now to use my Scotch tape I have here...Anyway, I just tried to write on it and no problem at all...?
I'll get the name of the disobedient tape on Monday.
