I need a small bobber / float for my PSK fishing kits. It needs to be about 1/2 inch and not very long SLIP style float.

Does anyone have a good idea for a type of bobber that is not too expensive, good quality, high water dispersal, small slip style bobber?

Maybe try some stick on strike indicators for fly fishing, work very well and take up very little space. Chris

Skewer stick through an acorn???

Don't know Tal, haven't seen anything that small.

August,

I found the Thill bobber I have been looking for. I thought it was a simple float - but it is a strike indicator!

Anyone ever use a thingamabobber - they make those in 1/2 inch.

THANKS!

No probs, but not so loud, us fly fisherman use "strike indicators" which everyone knows are much more sophisticated than plain ole bobbers. ;) :D Chris

Think I see a bit of sarcasm, I feel the same way, sort of, bobber is a bobber, however, there needs to be a seperate name for something that can be cast with fly equipment. These are the ones I like.

Jake,

Try the icefishing section for small floats. Either those or the pinch-on strike indicators made out of foam. They pack to a smaller size since they are longer and flatter than a conventional float.

Call me if you have trouble finding them. I'll PM you my number.

I ended up ordering the Ez float. After talking to one of the guys who owns the company - they are the perfect size for what I need - and displace PLENTY of water for what I need to use it for.
