Hey guys,

I headed out to the river for a couple days to do a bunch of fishing and I camped out on an island while I was there. It was a really peaceful and enjoyable trip and I hope you like the video!

Thanks for watching!

Hi! Very nice video . Really a beautiful place. Where’s this island located exactly, if I may ask? The “scarab breakfast” made me smile, truly the best Grylls’ style :D… me? I would have gone with a plain granola bar :p. I just had a glimpse of the knife and I liked it a lot. I guess it’s one of your models, which exactly? Thanks for taking me along :)! Take care.

Nice fishing trip there Jesse. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for taking the time to comment!

It's on the Missouri River in Northern Nebraska.
Glad you liked my breakfast, haha! I don't know if there is any truth to it, but I once heard the Native American people used to cook June bugs in the coals just like popcorn. They really taste pretty good to be honest.
The knife I used was one of my designs, the Globetrotter, made by KA-BAR.

Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! I really appreciate it!
Cool filming.

You made that look effortless.
Thank you! It was a lot of fun, but I tell you what, I was on the water for about 14 hours both days and the sun really got me. A swim in the river felt like heaven!

Very enjoyable and really fine photography. Too many fish to eat. I'd be lucky to catch one or two. I assume you slept on the blanket. Around here the mosquitos would eat you alive.

Great video Jesse. It's honestly one of the best I've seen in a long time....................and I spend way too much time on Youtube. Very relaxing, without annoying music or mindless chatter. Just the sounds of nature, fishing and camping. VERY well done. Thank you.
