Hi JK Supporters -

For JK Supporters of record today only.

Guess the length of the biggest fish caught in today's fishing kit competition, and win a nice prize.

There will be a prize to the supporter with the closest guess and the runner-up (two prizes).

First place will recieve a $50 credit toward any new JK Knife.

Second place is for a rare and highly desireable JK ballcap.

Place your guess in this thread by 3:00pm today. In case of duplicate guesses, the first post wins.

We will be fishing with our own small fishing kits at a 65 acre fresh water lake in central Illinois.

Let the games begin.

best regards -

Well, I have to give it a guess. It will be slightly over eight inches.

2nd place - machine26

Honorable mention - protourist.

The size of the biggest fish caught using only our fishing kits was........

ZERO! Nobody fishing with a kit and cut-stick pole caught any fish.

It was cold, raining, and it was tough to catch fish this day.

Uncle Bill and Mr. Sogetsu caught some bass, but since they were not in the competition, their fish do not count.
I had one bass take a screw-worm off of my makeshift pole - I had tied a bad knot on my swivel.

Outdoorsfan brought some nice cigars, so some of us smoked a cigar and drank a barley-pop or two, so it was still a great time.

Thanks for your guesses, gentlemen.

Looks like fun. I love fishin' in the rain, it must be why I choose to live on a river in Oregon.:)

Congrats to the winners, and thanks to Andy for the contest. I had a ball, even though I got skunked!

Thank you very much for the opportunity. From the pictures, it looks like you all had a great time of food and fellowship, even though the weather was bad.

Hi machine -

That hat was hand-selected from the first batch of JK hats - Wear it in good health!

best regards -
