What do you think about this.I thought it up a while back while making someone some light weight monkey fists.
The inner strands of the cord is replaced with fishing line, the ball in the fist is a floater with 3 hooks stuck in it,the bead is a sinker.
so you start with this

and you have this after taking it apart, just grab a limber stick or cane and go fishing.

Great idea!!!! That also would keep that monofliament line from becoming a birds nest when using some.

I think you could do well if you made some up for sale.

Very cool kit.

great idea. I would use braided fishing line though, mono gets a hell of a kink memory

That's a great idea for a fishing kit. If you used braid instead of mono, the braid has no memory and would be perfectly flat and smooth after you pulled it out.

Not to mention 50lb braid is the diameter of 12lb mono, and you could yank almost any fish straight out of the water with 50lb braid. I'd go larger and sport 200lb braid.

Thanks guys.
I was thinking about putting them in the exchange but wanted some thoughts.I will have to do the braided line.I have 5 strands in this one but an thinking about using more.

I'd also buy one with the braided line. Very cool

Each strand is about 5-6 ft.
I am trying to think of a way to keep them all one piece but with how the the cord need to be trimmed I do not see how I can do it.
I am thinking of a different way by not replacing the inner strands and wrapping the line around the floater, that way you would still have the 7 inner stands to use for something else.
