Fishing set

This is a fishing knife and pliers set that we make. It is used mostly for the saltwater fisherman but works well for fishing in general. It is a leather sheath with belt clip, a knife made of CPM S30V and black linen micarta and a set of pliers with a carbide cutter. We usually use Donmar pliers, the customer provided these. The knife is there mostly for safety and the pliers are attached to the sheath to prevent loss. If it is on your belt, you don't have to look for it as you go over the side.

Is that leather treated with wax?

It is treated with a oil/wax mix. It seems to hold up well in a salt water environment.

That looks fantastic .. I have a set of the large Van Staal's I imagine you could do the same thing with them..... If so please email me at JParanee@aol.com with details.. I do alot of fishing and carry them on my belt I have often thought of combine both is a single purpose carry ... Great idea:thumbup:

Very nice, I actually like the Pescador better than the Donmar. That sheath/plier teamed with a bird/trout knife would be great.
