I'd love to see some of the things you guys catch while fishing, or the gear you use for fishing. Figured this could be a fitting topic in here.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of my best catch as it was about 10 years ago, but back when I went out with my Grandpa fishing on the lake, I caught a 23 pound king salmon, and a 15 pound brown trout in the same day. Best luck I've had. Last time I went with him we got no bites. The day I left he caught a 38 pound King Salmon. So how about you guys?

My wife and I will actually be picking up kayaks soon. I'm hoping to outfit them for fishing on the little ponds we have near us.

i try to take the kids out fishing in the summer, didn't make it last year but hopefully revisit the tradition this year.

This is definitely not my best catch but my most recent. I just got back from beautiful blue ridge ga where my dad, cousin, and I did some trout fishing.

Those were just the fish we had gut hooked. The knife is one I found while checking out a knife shop in down town blue ridge. It is a camillus #72. So far I've dated it to around '46-50 but still uncertain.
New old knife and fishing with family. The only thing that could have made the trip any better was if I could have had my Tody's knife on my side.
I usualy stick to largemouth bass fishing. So far my year has been horrible though. I've been to the lake about 5 times without a single bite.

That is about the only way I fish anymore(excluding trout and salt water which are few and far between). I love it, but it does take some getting used to being so low on the water. It really through off my casting for a while.
Here is my set up,

I carry my 102 and a leatherman pretty much every trip.

The kayak is a field and stream eagle talon(or run, I can never remember). I have thought about adding bells and whistles, but it seems to do the trick stock.

I've been busy the past couple of weeks getting my vintage motorhome and boat working. Hopefully I will be able to get on the river soon so I can add to this thread.
These are my best so far. Next weekend I hope to go after some halibut.:D

i love fishing. i'm a bass angler mostly, large mouth and hybrids. but i won't bass up the chance to catch the occasional smallie. i mostly fish out of my kayak in my local lakes, but will also walk the shore line. i use mostly plastics on light spinning gear.

some of my decent catches:
