Fishingknife

5½ inch ATS 34 blade, brass pins and bolster, brown linen micarta. I've never made a fishingknife before, so your opinion on materials and knife as such will be appreciated.

Agree. You might want to add a lanyard to help keep it inside the boat.

N2S - I had a lanyard planned, but it would be placed too close to the last pin so I dropped it. I'm not going to use it in boats anyway - a friend of mine moved into a new home today, and that is about 5-10 yards from the ocean, so we can almost sit on his sofa and fish from there
