I've never handled a Fisk bowie, but have drooled over many a picture on knifeart.com, as they always seem to have at least one of his pieces. I think the most I've ever seen one of his bowies selling for was almost $3,000, and the "plain Jane" military model is $895 at knifeart.com. His hunters go for a few hundred dollars less than that. I put a link to the Fisk pages at knifeart.com and The Edge Equipment below.

Hi Mo,

Jerry is without a doubt the best businessman in the ABS. Personally, I feel he is the heir apparent to Bill Moran.

Much like Bill he is incredibly talented and humble.

He currently has a 4 year delivery time. Also, his knives are not going down in price.

Even in the aftermarket they are difficult to come by and generally do not last very long.

I recommend a Fisk or two to all my clients who have an eye for quality and prefer their knives to go up in value, instead of down.

If you are intersted in purchasing a Fisk, please contact me via email.

Mo--

I have a Fisk bowie, and it is quite simply a breathtaking knife. Mine has a 9.5" 1084 blade, fileworked guard and a curved coffin hilt in Sambar. Concealment sheath in oxblood leather by Kenny Rowe. This thing just flies in the hand. Joe Kious offered to buy it from me at the Solvang show for at least $100 more than what I got it for.($750, by the way, try finding a bowie like this at that price again...) Nice mate for my Bagwell...not that I'm gloating..

Does anyone know where i can see pics of the cammilus collaboration? I think a realy Fisk bowie is out of my range for a long time yet, but maybe the collaboration can tide me over...

Here's a pic of a plain jane Fisk if there ever was one. It has a 7.5" blade of 1084, a nickel silver guard and a black canvas micarta handle. This is the model Jerry calls the Commenchero. Enjoy.

HDCharlie,

That, my friend, is an awesome knife. Thanks for sharing. Personally I had no idea Jerry did anything along the likes of that. I now see how you could part with that sweet Blade 9" CPB

guys,
I too am a big fan of fisk's work. He is a genius. I have a nice damascus dagger, that i am very proud of.

The closest I'm going to get to owning anything with Jerry Fisks name on it for the time being will be his new collaboration with Camillus. I understand it should be pretty close to the Comanchero pictured above only with curly maple handle. It should be out around Christmas and I have one on order.
