Does anybody know when Camillus started making these bowies and in what quantities. I was interested in one I saw in a barber shop. It had dark wood handle, not the maple, and the man told me it was 1 of 2000. Iv'e seen others that were 1 of 750 and the prices were different. He wants 200 for his so I was just curious. Is there collector interest in these knives. Thanks for all input/.

That price is about what they go for.Maybe a little less on ebay.
