Jerry created this piece for his last Micro Show. As it's a very unique piece. Thought I would post it for those of you who have not seen it.
He describes it as:
This is a very simple looking knife but difficult to do, it is a forging of an integral knife with an approx 4 3/4 inch blade. The handle is designed so that your hands go up on the bolster as part of the handle. It has a sheep horn handle and stainless pins. I think this is the first integral full tang that I have had for sale. I took a photo of the top side so you can get an idea of the strength of this puppy. You just cant get any stronger than this, it would give you lockjaw before broke it. Odd thing is the raised spine. To be truthful I stole that idea off of JR Cook. I liked it and if you are going to steal an idea at least steal a good idea. I hand forged this one out at a public demo I was having to do. It took all day with a 4 pound hammer and my ole hands were killing me by the time I was done.

What a great melding of tank-toughness, beautifull aesthetics, and pure function. I can't stop looking at it.
 
There are a lot of those little integrals these days. This one is very nice.

I am not sure I dig the raised spine. :confused:
 
mm I like that mottled Sheepshorn...seen this one on an online site no?
 
That's a neat litttle knife. I have a fondness for integrals and it's great to see one form Jerry. Pretty distinctive design. I dig it.

I like it too.
It feels great in hand, has nice weight for it's size and appears to be indestructible. :thumbup:

Pretty sure I like the raised spine,sets it apart from a lot of the other integrals out there. :thumbup:
Know I dig the sheep horn.
Classic,beautiful stout design.
