Hey guys, I know some of you all keep up with it. The Micro Show went over very well again this year. Both Steve Dunn and Mike Ruth had some really nice pieces. Every piece was recieved well by the clients, we had good food and a good time. Les Robertson and AG Russell both did well with their talks. Chuck Ward was on hand to shoot all the knives and "action" shots during the weekend. We had a field trip on Friday to the ABS school and watched the damascus class in action so they could better understand what goes into making damascus and different patterns and from there we went to JR Cooks shop where he did some forging of blades.
The clients enjoyed the coon and possum treats. You just dont get meat on a stick in some areas.
Thank you to each of you that attended for making the show a success and thank all of you that kept up with the show and the step by steps for your support as well.
The makers chosen for the 2007 show is Harvey Dean and Lin Rhea. For more information, dates etc you can go to my website and check out whyfors etc.

Thanks for the report Jerry - I hope somebody took some pics so we can see a bit of the event. Sounds pretty awesome.

Sounds like ya'll had a bunch a fun Jerry and a very unique get together. Some action shots would be cool.

It is great to see the knives that Jerry had at the show, but it is always a treat to see photos of what was going on.

Jerry - thanks for the report. I have to say I love the pics of the Spanish dirk. It's right up my alley.

Jerry's right. The show was a great time. Not everyone knows it, but besides being a great Mastersmith, Jerry cooks possum better than anyone. Jim Treacy

What the.... ????? I'm searching for the proper descriptor here, but words fail me. I ran over a possum last week, and the buzzards haven't cleaned him up yet. If ya want, I can scrape him up & send 'im your way, Jerry. :D :foot:

Really, sounds like a great time.

Learn a bit about knives and what's going on in the industry, see and handle some great knives and a good time with friends. A great weekend...
Thanks Jerry.

Chuck Ward and I are putting a photographic CD together of the doings. Right now we are trying to see if we can put music on it too but will have to wait and see next week.
