I picked up a 12" OVB Fisk Bowie this week. Truly a beautiful blade, and possibly the sharpest production blade I've owned. When it's sharper than Cold Steel, that's scary.
I am a little surprised at how "thin" the 3/16" blade is, compared to my 1/4" Cold Steel Laredo Bowie. It is sure quick in the hand though.
This weekend I hope to compare the Fisk vs. the Laredo in some basic field chores and light chopping. (I leave the heavy chopping to my kukris!). I'll post my review in the Reviews forum.
I really like the blade shape; very elegant, and looks very functional... can't wait to use it! The handle is as comfortable as it is nice to look at.
