Fisk - Southwest Bowie NLT#1-09

Here's a big Southwest Bowie Jerry just finished for a collector.
It has a 11" blade with a laddered "W" pattern. Also stainless mountings and a carved sea shell "S" guard. Engraving on the guard, ferrule, and butt cap with 24kt gold inlays and solid gold escutcheon with line engraving. Antique elephant ivory handle.

NICE!!!! The blade looks a bit thinner and longer in the clip than the southwestern bowies that I have seen from Jerry in the past.
 
looks beautiful! For some reason I cant stop looking at the file work on the guard.

As usual a great beautiful knife from Jerry Fisk.

I really think that the blackened damascus blade matches up very well with the black and gold engraving.

I thought the same. This piece reminded me of a spectacular bowie Jerry had at the SOS show back in '04 - but that piece had the broader blade you describe (bottom knife, crappy show pic):

Breathtaking and heart stopping. That's just the workmanship, the knife is wonderful too. If it were mine I would put in the carry rotation for sure:D:D
 
The excellence that this bowie represents is at a different level .. From the steel to the engraveing a notch above . Simple stunning

Oops, Sorry, My brain was stuck in Awe on this INCREDIBLE Bowie. OMG!! That is just insane Gorgeous!!
I love the very dark/light contrast in that Damascus. And the Pattern is gorgeous!!
That Engraving goes with the knife perfect. Congrats to the lucky new owner!!!
