Ikea has the Fiskars knife sharpener for 7 dollar/euro. I always wanted to buy a original one but they are around 30-40 euro. It’s the same thing and it’s made by Fiskars (it has the Fiskars name on the bottom side). But it is white instead of black and a lot cheaper. The product name is ‘’ASPEKT’’.

I have travelled in Finland a few years ago and the locals have the Fiskars one in there kitchen. The used it on kitchen knifes as well as on pokkuus. There is/was also a Fiskers model made only for sharpening axe’s.

I never used the ‘real’ Fiskers one but the Ikea-Fiskars one has given my old Victorinox kitchen knife pretty quick a nice edge. Just check this thing out, its well worth the 7 dollar

Do you mean something like this?

(which looks basically the same like fiskars roll-sharp, here in Czech R. it is around $14)

A knife/tool shop in Rotterdam had one for 34,95 euro. Really expansive, but they told me it was the regular price. This was a year or two ago.

And I thought local shops are overpriced on knife related items

Don’t get me started whit the Dutch knife shops! Sometimes the price is twice or more the advertising price of the manufacturer. Even European web-shops are expansive.

Dutch kniveshops suck way overprized;)
Get a 204 spyderco much better results and bang for the buck then those crapy things like ikea:D
