Fiskars X7 or X11

For camping. not concerned about weight. Not felling trees. I think I'm more or less going to get one of these two based on reviews and cost. Which one would be best all rounder?

I know you said you are pretty set on either of these, but I'd recommend taking a look at Estwing hatchets. Either the Sportsman or Camper.
They are readily available at hardware stores and online.

You want the X10. The X11 is a small splitting maul, pretty useless thing if you ask me.

If he's in the U.S. or Canada, he won't be able to get the X10. I checked. And, the cheapest sourced piece I could find was from Germany at $85 shipped. You can get an X7 for $22 off Amazon or around $28 at a local hardware store.

X7 would be the safest choice. If anything, the OP ought to look at the smaller X5. A BF member is currently reviewing the X5 and says he likes it a bit more than the X7.
