I was wondering if anyone knew anything more about the FISKCO knives on Jerry's website and if any of you all had handled or used them. I felt because these are on a custom makers website and designed and marketed by him than this post would be better suited here and not in General. I did email Jerry about getting ahold of one and asking more info.

I handled one at Blade. Felt comfortable in the hand. I was only curious about it for that so didn't inspect it further.

does anyone know if the proposed limited run of Fiskco integrals ever got made?

Nice write up in Knives Illustrated about the new black FISKCO. I alos own one and really like it, a good user.

My everyday user is one of Jerry's original production prototypes and is just a great little all purpose piece.
I use the heck out of it and have never had to sharpen it. As I like even my users to look good, I will take take 600 grit to it every so often just to bring the nice satin finish back.

Looks like a great handle. Looks a bit hard to sharpen down at the choil. And looks like one of the best sheaths I've seen on a production knife.

Sorry to revive this old post, but can they be found somewhere?
Or is the project cancelled which would be a pity

blasting from the past ...

Waking up this thread because I recently received one of these FISKCO knives and I want to know what the steel is.

I see it was made in Brazil and hoping it might be 52100.

necromanced thread closed.
