Hello blade forum family! I have been creeping for long enough- it's time to contribute to the discussion. Or, at least, say hello. I first came to blade forums looking for advice on a bushcraft knife and was immediately enamored with the bK2. So, I bought one! It is currently in pieces as I await the arrival of some micarta so I can make some scales. This was my gateway knife. Now, I've been carrying my new bk11 every day and LOVE IT. This last weekend, I made a trip to the hardware store and purchased some hardware and made use of some brown canvas micarta:

Then, I wanted to build a scout carry sheath. I am a leatherworker, so I had supplies, tools, and know-how and here's what I came up with:

The sheath is sized and drilled to directly accept KaBar's TDI clip too! So, here it is with its big and little brothers! Stay tuned for more of the BK2 once I finish my scales. Thanks for looking!

Welcome to our corner of the asylum! You get my vote for one of the better screen names. ;)

Good looking knives you got there, now let's see some pics of them getting dirty!

Welcome to the forum and that's some real nice work you've done there, I like your sheaths, very nice. Those scales on the 11 look great too.

Thank you! I love making stuff out of leather! Maybe I'll post a diy thread with photos on how I do the sheaths one day.

Welcome to the forums! Believe me I know How hard the "Transition" is between lurker and poster because I lurked for about ~6mo before my first post.
Oh and nice 11

Welcome!
Good combo with the 2/11.
That leather work looks great!
Pull up a chair and stay awhile.

Hey great work on the scales and the sheaths. I look forward to seeing the 2 all done up.
