So after owning my Basic4 anorexic for quiet some time the handle never felt perfect until now. Last thing I need is some Kydex and I'm taking it out hunting. Let me know your thoughts on this handle mod.

Great job, looks like it was made that way. That's one of the things I like about Res-C, it can be personalized easily.

That looks killer brother,,,like everyone else now, I have to know how you did it!?

Looks great !!! You may be on to something there ? SOB Basic handle series ?

Very nice job…. :)

One thing you might consider changing though, it seems the rear guard may be a bit much (IMO of course). You might consider doing something similar to narrow it as it's a bit more than is needed for security in use.

I disagree. I can see the functionality of it. A nice wide thumb rest for reverse grip downward thrusting into vampires chests.

Impressively neat job!!!!! NICE!!!! Tell us the technical details! :) Please

Looks nice AV! How'd ya do it?

Started first by drawing my desired profile then whittled to rough size with Mud Mutt Proto Tanto. Then took the handle to a Burr King 2in belt grinder in 240grit to even out the whittled surface. Then clamped it blade first into a bench vise and finished with a strap of 240 grit 1 inch wide like shining a shoe firm gentle pressure, and done! I can't wait to dress a deer with this ergo beast!
