Removing the blades in England means no worrys and I can carry the slippy I like.
fitted a front door key to my old Wave today,I fitted and awl to the other side the same way lasyt year.
I have also done the same to my wave Gen 2.
My newer wave has a back door key
but I would have to jump over the fence to use it (I am to beat up nowadays to do that anyway).
I did a much better job this time.
The best way is mark it out then take a little off, check and repeat as neccesary.
Not wanting iron filings in the mechanism I took it off each time I filed.
My left hand is about 50% and my right (dominant) hand about 35% strength so its not easy and its painful.
I can use the LM at right angles to open the door if I am struggling.
