Finally got this one completed. This is my first 5-blade pocket knife. Very pleased with how it turned out based on my original sketch.

SPECS:
5-blade congress with chamfered 416 ss bolsters and interior mammoth covers. Blades and springs are Aeb-L 61 Hrc and cryo treated. Pruner main blade, clip point, baby pruner, pen and modified coping blade secondaries. 410 stainless steel congress shield pinned with 14k rose gold pins. Jeweled liners. Blades have copper washers for blade tang clearance. No mill reliefs. Tight gaps all around. Flush in all three on all blades. Smooth pulls. Great walk and talk. No rubbing or touching of blades during actuation. Blades are hand finished to 800 grit with hand polished swedges.

Thanks for looking. This knife will be available at BladeShow West Table 20B. Hopefully I’ll get to meet some of you. Have a great weekend.

Can’t wait to see it. You’re doing some really awesome stuff this year, really enjoying seeing the Instagram updates. I love the hand satin you did on this one. Definitely one of the makers a lot of guys will be checking out at blade show. Looking forward to chatting with you again in Utah this year.

An excellent blade assortment, so often Congress knives just have 2 pairs the same which I find pointless on a bulky multi-blade. Dig those Pruners!

And for your next project.....A Sportsman's Knife  Never really understood why knife makers in the c19th-c20th liked using Ivory so much? It's expensive and luxury but thin panel and really fragile on large patterns, rare to see an uncracked one unless it's been hidden 100+ years and even then...

Thanks Will. The pruners are fun. It made this knife a bit more challenging. Made 3 springs until I got the preload tension right for the main pruner.

I have a horseman’s knife on my bench. I’ve been pecking away at it. All the blades and main implements are roughed except the hoof pick. I need to have the knife frame nearly completed before I forge the curve of the pick end. Still working out the best way to do that trick.

Here’s a sneak peak

So good to see a knife-maker with their own style and no reservations about tackling complex work  You are making really interesting items, will soon have some long waiting list:thumbsup:
