DD on both!

Yangdu has updated the thread to include length and weight of the KK's.

Malla would be my choice, but God knows I have way too many knives...lol

How many is way too many? I don't have a Malla? Or an M43. I'm pretty much a rookie.

I lost count some time ago, but "way too many" sounds about right.

Here's a bit of history of the Malla model from the HI web site: "The Malla khukuri is replicated from an a khukuri found buried under the floor of BirGorkha and identified by HMG Archeological Society (Nepal) as being an ancient khukuri from the Malla era (13th -18th centuries A.D.)."

Here's a picture of my Malla. It's by Lachhu Kami, 20" long and 32.7oz. It's a big knife.

Mallas aren't available very often and the one posted above is a great price for anybody who doesn't already have one (or two).

Thanks Dave...well, add another one. I better go get my steel garbage can and put it over my head when I sleep to protect that jugular vein, right Bawanna?

Darn this worked out swell. I was contemplating if the Malla would put me in the too many category but you saved me.

Thanks for the history reminder david.

Nowehere near Ndog, but I'm somewhere's around 150 now, and about a hair from getting skinned alive by the missus.
Your prolly about there cul! Im afraid to count mine. My wife is going to visit her mom in a few months so maybe I can put them all in a pile and snag another pic whilst shes away:rolleyes: Im afraid something biblical might happen (AKA: Fifth Element) if I put them all together in the same room:eek:
Hey Bawanna! Were missing much the same blades it seems. I like that Malla alot and considered snagging it as well as that Jungle knife. The JK reminds me of the Himalayan Razor. I gotta wait till I pay my taxes first tho.
