I'll give up the kumar karda. Don't want to be a pig....

The kumar karda is still on the board.

Yipes!!
lol...
Well You got 2 Good Ones!!
Were You going for the Wajaski as well?
(Picture me holding my breath while Yangdu figures us Shark-types out!!)

HIKV is strong in this one, it is.

I'm done for a while.... really. When the bill comes in for this, my wife will gently advise me that is the situation. I've been circling the board for the sword & the bowie & have eaten my fill.

You should have seen my Wife watching me for the last day or so... I was never getting very far from the PC... leaving the HI Forum up... checking and checking....
She laughed and said that she was going to have to start bringing my meals in to me at the PC.....
Well.. She will be pleased when she wakes up from her nap... Now I won't be stuck in the den at the PC!!

It's Here!!!
Wow... Went into the PO at 9 AM Eastern... 6AM Out West... and there it was!!
What a Gorgeous Wajaski... And what a GREAT deal....
This is my 1st look at a HI Sword.... I am not even sure I see the Hammer marks on the blade....
What a Skilled Kami to leave no trace of all of the Hard Hammer work.

Put it this way, I have a number of Cold Steel sabers and swords, and quite a few Windlass Steelcrafts Sabers and swords, and I CAN see the "wavy" hammer marks on the blade...
I am Seriously Thrilled with the HI Wajaski!!
Thanks Much Ms Yangdu!!

**Now maybe I will have hubby back (in body at least) to help with Yule shopping!
But I have to say it IS a VERY nice piece of work!!
Thanks.... Ms. Yangdu... Hubby has a smile here from ear to ear!
Blessed Be!

My WWII blem came today.

Couldnt be happier. AS DESCRIBED.. my first thought was that I would re handle it, but after examining the knife on arrival, I am going to leave it as is. The handle crack is truly almost un-noticeable

Going to be keeping a eye on this forum :)

THANKS!!!

Welcome, CowCop!

If youre going to leave it as is, you may want to squirt some thin superglue or epoxy in the crack, This will keep it from getting larger with use. It's the tried and true method around here.

I got one also.... awesome Wakizashi! Totally satisfied. Never had a sword before - wutta great feel! Have no use for it, but for some reason I just love the thing. Obvious that it took a lot of work to make & its hella strong - slim, light, yet very solid & powerful. Very well built, impressive blade.

So now I gotta getta Everest Katana to go with it. I'll be up Yangdu's way for my daughter's graduation next week & may try to make an appointment with her to check out her Katana stock.

Oh yeah.... and a tarwar. And a Tibetan sword. And a.....
