There should be ten times the posters than this! People must be saving for the summer or the fourth or something. That WW2 is the perfect blade. Great length, heavy enough for when it matters, and made by Tirtha (so you know it is sharper than other WW2's! Or I should say; has a signature edge different than other kamis). I don't remember the last time I saw a Tirtha WW2! My chitlangi bowie from this group is already in the mail. Auntie Yangdu is the best business partner in my life! Quick shipping and deals that blow me away! That foxy folly is incredible! It is created by my main man, Rajkumar, has an incredible horn handle, and the dimensions make it a chopping beast! Don't shy away from the horn handles. When a handle is made correctly (like they are by Rajk), it doesn't matter what the material, it will hold no matter what! I understand if people prefer a wood feeling in the hand, but this horn is gorgeous and ergonomic. I prefer it when my hands start to sweat, but only on HI items. The foxy folly should run about $250 minimum if not more! I would pick up the FF and the WW2 if I didn't already purchase from this group.
Forgot to mention the greatest martial blade in the HI arsenal, a gorgeous Hanshee! Stabs wherever you point! Most ergonomic and comfortable martial blade in the HI stock.
GET ON THESE, FELLAS!

I agree on most counts. I think most of us are sitting around crying because we can't have one of these especially the two you mention, the WWII and the Fox Folly, both make my heart sing.

BUT, I just hot a Tirtha Ang Khola, and a 25" Siru, even though Auntie is my wife's newest best friend, she would not be happy with me if I moved on these.

I'm not a big fan of horn handles, and told myself no more but your right on that account too. If done right they are every bit as good.

Ain't over yet neither, don't see no sold sign on that WWII, it just might want to come live with me too. Course I have an Amtrak WWII so maybe that would be silly. Naaww.

I feel your tears Bawanna! Got my Siru at same time as you but that FF is almost the chopper i need and is so beautiful. Its 107 degrees outside now and dont think i can convince my wife to let me buy something to process firewood...Yet. she knows its coming tho :)

If it helps your cause any, tell the wife I said it was ok. You deserve the FF. Might wanna maintain some distance and keep a sturdy garbage can lid handy as a shield if she starts to toss stuff.
Just so you know, this has never ever worked for anyone so I'm kind of hoping you'll be the first, and completely change my reputation.

Do let us know how it goes.

I do subscribe to the one argument theory though. If you ask, an argument will ensue usually. If you just buy it, an argument will ensue when she realizes the missing loot, so you can buy it and argue once or you can ask, argue, buy it anyhow and argue again.

I rest my case.

I can't believe that someone has not jumped on that Fox Folly by Rajkumar! It would be mine if I didn't buy a 15" AK two weeks ago (BTW I am very happy with the AK.) :D I'm already saving my pennies for my next fix.

Not to mention they will be a lot more annoyed that you ignored their advice!!
Also EMS on WWII, looks amazing

Well this wasnt so bad cause she knew it was coming. I dont think a garbage can lid would stop this if that FF came to the door! I think she would have a different face on ... and part of me would be on the floor face up. :emptiness:
Should always buy your smaller than a garbage can lid first and large blades later. I screwed up! BTW is it still not sold???

Looks happy to me. I agree something more substantial that a garbage can lid is definitely in order.

Is that 25" Siru, looks bigger, course maybe it's the wielder and she isn't as happy as she looks?

Near as I can tell the FF is still up for grabs, the WWII is off the list. Nice work GR33.

Uhhh...Hold on let me go measure it. I assumed it was 25"....It is 25 1/2" if measured from the two farthest points as shown in "Kuhkri Dynamics" diagrams. Looks wider in that pic for some reason. My wife is magical! Maybe she puffs her blade when she's angry to scare off predators! She is happy tho! She would even be happier if someone would buy that FF! Here's a pic of my siru.

Well if she'd be happy is somebody would buy that FF why shouldn't that somebody be you? Sounds like a no brainer to me. Only better solution would be if the somebody was me but my wife puffs herself up to scare off predators. (and me). Be afraid, very afraid.

All these knives have been "LONG GONE" per Yangdu...I wanted the FF the day it posted; it was gone. Its frustrating because it takes a day or so for them to get back to you. I just went over to another forum dealer and bought a Ontario Khuk, just to get my fix. I always try to get the HI's but that work thing gets in the way with the 10am or so post time of most DOTD.

Yangdu,

Is there a place you can go to sign up for the next blemish rather than try and catch these threads? It seems they go really quickly, and, those of us who are unable to check the internet at work don't stand much of a chance of getting one. I'm looking to purchase a 15 or 18" Ang Khola and am not too concerned about the cosmetics as I will need the blade for function more so than I will need it for aesthetics ( not that I don't want the blade to look fantastic).

You can order from the shop. Still have incredible deals! You can also check the other forums for people selling their old khukuris. I am sorry that you are unable to check internet at work, but I feel that if you can't play the game don't try to change the rules.
I too can't check internet at work, but I always find a way to shark.

You can always email Auntie Yangdu to see if she has what you're looking for in stock.
