A Philippine style sword made in Nepal. The best of both worlds!

I should know better than to look at these things. I've no buying money, and it just makes me ache.

That Ganga looks simply super. Such an obvious choice for a worker blade that it makes my throat start to close up.

And the Kumar WWII is the twin of one I already own, that is more than ready for anything I've thrown at it.

One of these days, I'll invest in two like that, to keep for when my sons come of age.

Steve, you're going to hate me...

LOL! Guys I would have tried for that one as well had I seen it. I have the smaller one of these, and wanted to get the bigger version to match. TedWca has both and I had been talking to him, which always seems to cost me money. :D

Mine is 21" and 21 oz., and was listed as a blem because of the rust as well. At first I thought it was just light surface rust, but I really had to work on it for a long time with a buffer, and it ended up with some pitting. Doesn't look too bad polished out though. I guess that scabbard really holds the moisture.

This would have made for a rusty mate for it. Glad Joe got it. (I think...;) )
