Fix bent liners?

Hi guys. So I have this two blade Barlow that has a bend in the outer liner, pile side, causing the clip to rub and scratch.
Is there a safe way to correct this? I've tried this before on another knife and only made matter worse, and don't want to repeat that mistake.

I cannot offer much other than suggesting that if the bend is slight you may be able to file or sand the liner enough to allow the blade to clear.
