Fix Blade,How Do You Sharpen?

What would be the best to use to sharpen a 5 1/2" Shadow IV?

I use the Sharpmaker to sharpen my 5.5" Mountaineer II.

If you're having trouble doing the whole blade in one stroke, you can just concentrate on the first half, then the second half of the blade.

Large benchstones are great for big blades, as long as they don't have a recurve.
